You can earn 1 point per average weekly hour of volunteer work each semester by filling out a form from the website. PulsePoint PSA – 1 point if you show proof of getting the app

Anyone who’s CPR certified should download the PulsePoint app for your smart phone! Dane County has recently started using this app as a way to get CPR/AED qualified individuals to patients suffering sudden cardiac arrest as soon as possible.  The app notifies you of any cardiac arrest incident within .25 miles of your location.  You are not under any obligation to respond, but if you are available, you can respond to the location or grab the nearest AED and initiate care until EMS arrives.  If you have any questions, email me (taklein2@wisc.edu) and I’ll do my best to answer them for you.

*Create your own event: Email either the social or volunteer chairs (see “Board Members” tab) and get double points for organizing your own event! We love to hear your ideas!
