Study Hours: Join AED every Thurs night at College Library (room 3217) for study hours! There will always be at least one officer there, and you are free to come study for as little or as long as you like! We will have the room reserved from 5:30-7:30pm for open study time. Plan to meet up with other AEDers and study for that big exam! Can request: computers, large shared monitor/screen, projector, and/or whiteboard(s). AED Pre-Health Fair: Sun 4/27, 6-8pm, Steenbock Biocommons (Steenbock Library)
Join the Student Pre-Health Committee in Steenbock Biocommons for the first ever Pre-Health Fair! This fair will begin with featured speaker Dr. Theresa Duello presenting on the importance of diversity in healthcare and how to prepare for a healthcare profession. Then, the Pre-Health Committee will hold a fair—similar to the student org fair at the Kohl Center—where the executive board members of similar Pre-Health orgs on campus will form metatables that students can approach. This fair will be fun, casual, and very informative! Refreshments will be provided.

Fri 11/11 2pm MedFlight Tour–UW Hospital
Join AED as we take a tour of MedFlight right here at UW Hospital. See the helipad and perhaps a helicopter, and learn about this unique part of critical care!
EMT Info Session Thursday 10/27, 7-8pm 3161 SAC
Due to high interest, Taylor will be holding an info session regarding what is involved in working in EMS during college. She’ll bring some info on classes and departments in the area as well as information about what is involved in working as an EMT. Please RSVP on the google spreadsheet so we have an attendance count. Based on the number in attendance, we will either do a Q&A session or have a short presentation followed by questions.
Sat. 10/8 Interventional Radiology Student Symposium 10:00am-4:00pm (3 points)
This one of a kind event held right here on campus (at the WIMR building: Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research) includes lectures by Interventional Radiology faculty from UWSMPH, Rush, and MCW. It also includes vendor stations in which IR equipment will be available for students to demo. This is a FREE event and there will be free lunch!
